The property is situated in the townland of TUMNA with extensive riverfrontage.
The shores of Drumharlowlake (also called Lough St.Eidin) are well known, these are used in the wintertime for feeding by a flock of Greenland White-fronted Goose. There are a variety of mature trees on the property including ash, beech, chestnut, cedar, hawthorn, poplar, willow as well as a number of apple trees.
There has been now artificial fertilizers etc. used on this land. The current owner is committed to not using poisonous sprays on the hedges ,roads etc. The land is kept in a very natural state, thus encouraging wildlife etc.
